Here at Crystal Age we love our crystal beads and we have just added a great new range of heart shaped crystal beads. These beads come in two varieties – side drilled and top drilled. The former have a hole that passes laterally through the bead – like the fluorite beads below – and the latter have a hole at the top of the heart – like the tiger eye beads below. The side drilled beads are better for making necklaces where the beads lie side by side, whereas the top drilled beads are better for designs where the bead will drop down.
